Your Neighbor, Your Doctor LLC is a direct primary care practice. A new approach to delivering high-quality primary care where nothing gets between you and the Doctor, including insurance. Instead of having thousands of patients, there are only a few hundred allowing the Doctor to really get to know you and your health needs. A typical primary care office has thousands of patients. As a direct primary care practice, we have a cap of only a few hundred. This allows the doctor to provide thorough analysis and comprehensive primary care. You have enhanced access to your doctor and have his direct number. To be able to give patients this level of access, the sign up process takes time and is more thoughtful and more selective. The first step is filling out the contact form, followed by a phone conversation and then a meet and greet. After that, we make a mutual decision to move forward. You will receive an invitation to sign up, after which the initial medical appointment will be scheduled at your convenience.

about Dr. mure

Joseph V. Mure, MD has been a long-time member of the Western New York medical community. He graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and a Medical Doctorate, a Surgical Internship and a Family Medicine Residency all from The University of Buffalo. Following completion of his education, Dr Mure joined the faculty of UB's Department of Family Medicine where he served as Medical Director as well as Vice Chair for Clinical Services. Dr Mure still maintains a teaching appointment with the now renamed Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. Following his tenure as the Vice Chair of Clinical Services, Dr Mure created a new Family Medicine Residency program for Eastern Niagara Hospital and served as their inaugural Residency Program Director. Most recently, Dr Mure is Chief Medical Officer for Horizon Corporations. He has maintained a private practice throughout.

Dr Mure has been honored by University of Buffalo awards including The John Paroski, MD Memorial Award for Compassionate and Excellent Patient Care and the Preceptor of the Year Award for clinical teaching of medical students, residents and fellows. He received Buffalo Business First awards Healthcare 50 and Excellence in Healthcare. And he has been one of Buffalo Spree's annual Top Doctors--as voted by his peers. An honor to receive once, Dr Mure has been recognized with this award six years in a row.
